Meet Our Team

Sherry Mourant, Head Occupational Therapist at Harbourside Rehab

Sherry Mourant, B.Sc. O.T. Reg. (N.S.) (N.B.) (PEI) (President/Occupational Therapist)

Sherry is an original founder of Harbourside Rehabilitation (2003). Her vision for the company is to help improve the health and well being of others by making occupational therapy services more easily accessible and to provide a flexible work environment for therapists. Sherry has worked in a variety of settings including, hospitals, homes and workplaces since becoming a registered occupational therapist in 1990. She has experience in a wide variety of clinical areas and particularly enjoys working with individuals who have sustained a traumatic brain injury or concussion. In her off time, Sherry enjoys being in the gym or running outside. You can also find her volunteering in the community through the Rotary Club of Moncton West & Riverview or trying new healthy recipes in the kitchen. Sherry is married to husband Eric and they live in Moncton, NB.

Linda Kay from Harbourside Rehab

Linda Kay, B.A. (Office Manager)

Linda graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and obtained a Business Administration certificate from the Nova Scotia Community College at which time she received the award for Top of her class, the Queen Elizabeth Medal for the school and a certificate of recognition from the Certified General Accountants Association of Nova Scotia for highest mark.  She worked full time for 14 years with Maritime Life and then 2 years with Manulife Financial, first as a mortgage administrator and then as a fund accountant.  Upon her position being outsourced, Linda decided to work part time to be able to balance her home and work life, raising her two boys. Linda enjoys travelling photographing local adventures with her husband and her pet dachshund. She came to Harbourside Rehabilitation in October 2007 and works as office manager, maintaining the accounting system and general office administration.

Jennifer Finlayson, Occupational Therapist with Harbourside Rehab

Jennifer Finlayson, B.Sc. O.T. Reg. (N.S.) (Occupational Therapy Consultant)

Jennifer has always felt compelled to ensure others feel heard, seen, valued and cared for. She believes that people of all ages can and deserve to engage fully in their lives, regardless of physical, cognitive, social or emotional issues and environmental barriers. Jennifer has enjoyed working as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of clinical areas since 1999, helping adults participate in tasks, activities and occupations that matter most to them. She has clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of mental, physical and cognitive conditions. She particularly enjoys working with individuals who have complex lived experiences including; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Chronic Pain and Attention Deficit Disorder. She has extensive training in these fields and a track record of excellent client outcomes. When she’s not working, Jennifer enjoys reading, puzzling, hiking and exploring Nova Scotia’s natural beauty with her friends and family. She volunteers with her local Scout Troop and engages in community-giving by sorting donations for the unhoused, collecting food donations for community cupboards, and delivering produce or gifts to local seniors. Jennifer lives with her husband and 2 children in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Angela Boyd, Occupational Therapy at Harbourside Rehab

Angela Boyd, B.Sc. O.T. Reg. (N.S.) (Occupational Therapy Consultant)

Angela has worked in both the public and private sectors since becoming a registered occupational therapist in 1998. She has experience in a variety of clinical areas including physical and mental health, return to work planning, workplace wellness, ergonomics, and complex case management. Angela is certified to offer the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP). Angela has a practical and compassionate approach, with a focus on client-centred care, to help client’s achieve engagement in meaningful activities in all areas of day living. When not working, Angela can be found spending time with her family, both furry and human, hiking local trails, and gardening.  Angela is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
